I Become an Independent BeachBody Coach

Why would I do such a thing, don't they just push the same old high carbohydrate, low fat diets?  Yup, but they have a great line of fitness programs that I love.  They also produce a line of supplements and they have an on-line community that keeps people motivated and engaged.  Getting people to take the first step toward a healthier lifestyle is not easy.  BeachBody's at home programs help ease the barrier to entry, you don't have to workout at a gym in front of others, you don't have to pay a trainer to teach you moves and, in most cases, all the equipment you need comes with the program.  The biggest benefit for some can be the community, having a personal coach and a message board full of people waiting to answer any questions you have no matter what time of day it is.

As far as the BeachBody diet recommendations, at least they push a whole foods based diet.  I don't agree with some parts of it, but it's still a diet that's healthier that most Americans eat.  My user name and bio on BeachBody's websites reflect my beliefs and if people want to follow a low-carb, paleo or primal diet I will enthusiastically support them.  I will not, however, try to force my ideas on anyone. My job is to support them in their fitness journey and encourage them to continue improving.
